Our Story
Treelight Industry Limited was founded with a singular purpose — to bridge the critical gap in Tanzania's concrete infrastructure products market. Our founders recognised early that Tanzania's booming energy and construction sectors were constrained by dependence on imported or inadequate local poles.
Through extensive market research and industry engagement, we developed a comprehensive business model centred on the southern highland regions. Following a rigorous evaluation process, Treelight Industry was pre-qualified by TCPM to establish a joint venture company dedicated to concrete pole manufacturing, strategically positioning the company to serve the national market, the wider East African region, and the SADEC market corridor.
Our collaboration with trusted technical and engineering partners brings proven manufacturing technology and expertise to complement our local market knowledge, government relationships, and commercial networks. Together, we represent a complete industrial ecosystem ready to deliver at scale.

Our Journey
Treelight Industry Limited officially incorporated in Tanzania. Board formation and foundational strategy sessions completed.
Comprehensive market analysis conducted across Tanzania. Feasibility study completed confirming strong demand and viable project economics for concrete pole manufacturing.
Following a formal evaluation process, Treelight Industry Limited was pre-qualified by TCPM — a subsidiary of TANESCO — to establish a joint venture company dedicated to concrete pole manufacturing. This milestone validated the company's technical and commercial capabilities and formalised the collaborative framework between the two entities to deliver high-quality concrete poles for Tanzania's power and infrastructure sectors.
Technical framework established with engineering advisers. Preliminary engineering assessments and implementation setup completed for the Mbarali plant site.
Formal stakeholder engagement commenced. Company profile materials were finalised and presented to key institutions and industry stakeholders.
Fund mobilisation, construction commencement, and ramp-up toward full production capacity. First commercial deliveries expected within 12 months of groundbreaking.
